This drama focuses on the life of Jung Yak Yong, a gifted scholar from Joseon who also had a keen eye for investigation. Jung Yak-Yong (Park Jae-Jeong) is a secret royal inspector. He carries out his job righteously, so King Jung-Jo trusts Jung Yak-Yong. But Jung Yak-Yong is involved in the case of Priest Joo Moon-Mo who spreads western learning thought.
